Where did you study, and what did you do your Masters degree on?
I studied Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (osteopathy) for 5 years at RMIT University in Melbourne
What inspired you to get into Osteopathy?
Growing up I played competitive tennis and sustained injures over the years. I went to numerous other health professionals for help, I was then advised to see an Osteopath and within a couple of treatments my injuries had resolved and I only need to seek maintenance treatment.
What style of treatment do you use?
I have a firm direct approach. I typically treat using deep tissue massage, muscle energy technique, articulation, manipulation and dry needling.
What type of injuries do you like to treat?
I have a special interest in the treatment of knees as I have sustained knee injuries over the years. I find the anatomy and working out the source of knee pain very interesting.
Do you follow any sports?
This Victorian girl loves her AFL. Go Hawks! However, I am willing to understand Rugby league rules and start following a Queensland team.
What inspired you to move to the sunshine coast?
The relaxed beach lifestyle and weather. It already feels like home.
Do you have any Hobbies?
I’m a little bit of a foodie, so I’m excited to try new restaurants and cafes on the coast. I also enjoy spending time at the beach and nature walking.
